Lake Days

Geneva Lake is 19 acres and offers endless things to do under the sun. When it comes to fishing, you are sure to find Largemouth bass, Northern pike, and Black crappie.

Swimming, canoeing, boating, waterskiing, and tubing are all popular activities on the water. Finally, if you are more of a land person, you can have a lovely stroll around the large perimeter of the lake or have a picnic with the family.

Around the Town

Now, suppose you get hungry while staying in the Oakland area. In that case, these spots are a must: Copperstones of Waterford, Heroes BBQ, and Brew, Lion's Den, Fork n' Pint on Cass Lake/Waterford, The Captain's Table.

Once you have had your fill, you can see some sights the town offers. LEGOLAND Discovery Center Michigan, Peppa Pig World of Play Michigan, Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum, Erebus Haunted Attraction, SEA LIFE Michigan Aquarium. All of these spots are within 35 minutes of the lake.

Near Downtown, the neoclassical Detroit Institute of Arts features the Detroit Industry Murals painted by Diego Rivera. The Henry Ford Museum provides a unique opportunity to view exhibits and listen to stories about America’s tradition of ingenuity, resourcefulness, and innovation. Detroit is also home to the famous Rosa Parks Bus and JFK’s limo.

Named the Best Riverwalk in the Country in 2021, the Detroit International RiverWalk offers beautiful sights and a relaxing experience for the whole family to enjoy. The riverwalk grants views of Canada, the Ambassador Bridge, and the GM Renaissance Center. This is a must-see!
